Dial West Cheshire supports new direction for ShopMobility UK with visit from national charity CEO.

Dial West Cheshire was delighted to receive a visit from Edward Trewhella from ShopMobility UK (and Chief Executive of Driving Mobility). ShopMobility UK co-ordinates a network of local ShopMobility centres which hire mobility scooters, powerchairs and wheelchairs for everyone, of all ages, to enjoy independence outdoors. 

With four centres across Cheshire West and Chester (in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich and Winsford), Dial’s ShopMobility service is considered to be a beacon of good practice and is in full support of the new national rebrand and direction under the leadership of Driving Mobility. 

Driving Mobility, supported by The Department for Transport, provides a network of assisted driving and mobility assessment centres – this national charity is now focused on strengthening ShopMobility UK services to benefit scheme members and customers.

Providing a valuable service to both local disabled people as well as visitors and tourists, mobility equipment is available to hire from Dial West Cheshire for as little as £3 per day. 

A range of independent living aids is also available for sale at competitive prices.
